Merit is a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P) for the Project Management Institute. We apply the principles established by PMI in "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK®) to all of our training courses. Our courses are accredited by PMI allowing our students to earn PMI education credits toward their PMI certification or re-certification.

Located in Wayne, PA, Merit Career Development creates, produces and delivers instructor-led workshops and training, video training programs, web-based eLearning courses, and on-line assessment tools. Merit is committed to helping people increase their knowledge, improve their skills, and enrich their lives with instruction that is validated through academic research and modern adult education principles. Every member of our team has a love of learning. We share this value not just in the courses that we design and deliver, but also in the organizations we support including: The World Wildlife Fund, The Boy Scouts of America, The International Society for Performance Improvement, and Habitat for Humanity. One of our own ongoing projects is to recycle discarded schoolbooks for the creation of school libraries in the African nation of Liberia.
